6th June 2010 Windsurfing: Normans Bay Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: flattish Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had a good, but lonely session down at Normans Bay switching between my 6.5 and Rocket and 5.7 and FSW. The wind was pretty perfect for both, so I got a fix of full on slalom type blasting and then some fun bump and jump - although I think my looping missions have made me forget how to jump. Either that or the ramps were a bit rubbish. The sea state was getting better as I packed up at 5.30, but just happy to be out in short sleeves for the first 'summer feeling' session. Tried a few loops, but progress is shocking, so I concentrated on tacking the little board and was very pleased to find that I got round almost all of them. |
